We live in an earthship 15 miles west of Pueblo Colorado. What is an earthship you ask? An earthship is a passive solar structure that is rammed earth in tires as well as beer/soda cans. While we have fairly severe winters and some hot summers, we enjoy very low HVAC energy requirements. You will learn some things about earthships here and our personal experiences with alternative architecture.
